The Islington BAMER Advice Alliance (IBAA) is a consortium established by six specialist advice service providers to improve the economic and social wellbeing of Black and Minoritised communities living in Islington. The project offers a wide range community-based advice and information services, including advice and advocacy, signposting to key local services, outreach, community engagement events, wellbeing workshops, digital inclusion, skills based courses and employability support.

The project was invaluable in addressing a wide range of intersecting issues which had a disproportionate impact on Black and Minoritised women. These included destitution, digital exclusion, inaccessibility to key support services, Covid-19 related awareness raising, mental health needs, homelessness and immigration.
