In respond to emerging needs due to Covid-19 pandemic KMEWO has obtained four small and medium sized emergency funds; they together enabled KMEWO to :

• Setting up staff homeworking and PPI to support frontline staff in response to the unprecedented challenges brought on by Covid -19.
• Emergency support for women with NRPF status towards essentials, including food, sanitary products and digital equipment.
• Free Tablet scheme for women to ensure vulnerable women have access to digital devices and inline support services .
• The creation of digital engagement officer post to ensure service users are able to access key services against the disproportionate impact of Covid-19 on  Black, Ethnic and Minoritised women .
• Increase counselling capacity and management capacity due to increased demand and pressures on our services as a result of Covid-19.
